Expert area of expertise is in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the breast. She has a vast amount of experience in treating both benign and malignant diseases of the breast. In her clinical practice, she reviews and interprets thousands of mammograms and ultrasounds a year. Though her specialty is breast surgery, she is familiar with all aspects of breast cancer care. She performs minimally invasive breast biopsies, as well as a vast array of breast surgeries, including open biopsies, needle guided breast biopsies, partial mastectomies, simple mastectomy, total mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsies, axillary lymph node dissection, modified radical mastectomy, skin sparing mastectomy, subcutaneous mastectomy for gynecomastia, and prophylactic mastectomy.

Expert is a Board Certified surgeon since 2004. She completed a fellowship in Diseases of the Breast in 2004. She is the Director of a Comprehensive Breast Center and in addition runs a busy clinical practice as a dedicated breast surgeon. She is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of The American Society of Breast Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
