More recently he was recruited by Booze Alan to provide expertize to the Serbian Enterprise Development Program, which he did for 3 years, advising and guidiong apparel companies there how to improve productivity and quality.
Over decades of sewing in underdeveloped countries he has created a quality improvement program that does not require much capital expenditure yet yields excellent results.
He is a creative problem solver and a strong motivator and trainer.
USAid......Serbian Enterprise Development Project. Was the primary consultant to the apparel/textile cluster on this capacity building project. This involved in visiting and providing consulting serices to over 50 client companies in country, conducting seminars and industry-wide meetings.Project for VFCorp to set up and manage a world-wide apparel quality and ethical compliance program at a licensee of theirs (Kikomo of NY).
Wrote the manuals and standards, went to Asia to recruit and train selected staff, and then deployed them around SE Asia. Monitored the program on site and remotely until it was run in and going smoothly.Gemline Inc. Wrote quality manuals for the bag/luggage division and then the apparel division, and trained their inspectors to perform these tasks.
