Other important areas of research include in vitro antimicrobial susceptibility testing systems, natural products in particular emphasis on new sources of API’s for drug development and fungal biotransformation. Further his recent research area is oriented towards the development of smart antibacterial biomaterials and nanotechnology based drug delivery.
