Developed hydraulic fluid analyzer for US Air Force to detect particulate and water content in combat aircraft. This was part of a 3-phase SBIR project funded by the USAF. Project involved producing three prototypes, circuit design, PCB layout and firmware.Developed concepts leading to a patent for start-up diabetic measurement company. Served as Director of Engineering for two years while venture capital funding was secured.Developed sporting game prototype to track trajectory of golf ball putt and send information to computer for analysis. Build prototype, microprocessor circuitry and firmware.Analysis of failed Diabetic blood glucose meter. Determined that there were insufficient protection mechanisms to guard against expired blood strips causing very high reading. Analysis of company FMEA's further proved that the severity of this design flaw was downplayed.Developed a product to light keyholes and locksets with an LED using motion detection and a solar charging option.
