Our History

Intellex’s history is defined by two parallel paths that recently converged into one unified brand. The path to building our network of experts began in 1984 with the founding of Intota, an early B2B advisory network, which evolved through acquisitions into ORC Experts (2013), Expert ENGINE (2014), and eventually Expert by Big Village (2022). 

The Intellex brand started with the founding of BelFlex Staffing in 1989 and the 2003 launch of YourEncore. In 2021, Intellex launched as a sister company to BelFlex, capitalizing on deep CPG expertise. These two histories merged in 2024 when Intellex LLC became an independent entity owned by the McCaw Family and acquired Expert by Big Village, combining 40 years of expert network heritage to become a premier strategic partner for the legal industry.
