Expert served as the Director of Clinical Trials Program at University of Cincinnati Barrett Cancer Center and Saint Louis University Cancer Center. She has extensive experience in the design and execution of clinical trials, served as principal investigator in over 200 clinical trials, and published over 150 papers in major peer-reviewed journals. In 2015, Expert started a consulting company. In this role, she performs online, peer-to-peer, and tele-medicine consultations rendering second opinions for rare and complex cancer cases. She also advises pharmaceutical companies on best development of their anti-cancer assets. Additionally, she advises hedge funds and the financial sector on analysis and interpretation of early clinical trial results from start-up biotech companies. She can provide an analysis on market share and medical intelligence on competitors in this space, and she has served as an expert witness in malpractice cases, intellectual property cases and breach of contract cases.
