Expert is a practicing pediatric emergency physician in Virginia. He has over 27 years of experience in all aspects of pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine including clinical practice, directorship, medical education, research, administration, risk management and medical-legal review as well as utilization review. He previously served as faculty for the Louisiana State University School of Medicine Department of Emergency Medicine in Baton Rouge where he directed a highly successful research program, Director of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge as well as Director of Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Employer in Leesburg Virginia. He also holds faculty positions for Georgetown University School of Medicine and University of Alabama School of Medicine currently. He previously served as the committee chairman for Pediatric Emergency Service Standards for the INOVA Healthcare System in Virginia. Expert is the author of numerous peer review articles and continues to publish regularly. In addition, Expert developed one of the first community based comprehensive concussion clinics in the United States in Leesburg Virginia. Expert is a sought after expert in risk management, utilization review, and standard of care in pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine. Finally Expert serves as a manuscript reviewer for numerous nationally recognized pediatric and emergency medicine journals.
