Expert is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Legal Nurse Consultant with more than forty years of experience in clinical practice, education, and healthcare consulting. Her background spans primary care, pediatrics, women’s health, urgent care, emergency medicine, inpatient hospital care, and neonatal intensive care. Clinical work has consistently focused on family-centered and pediatric populations across both community-based and hospital settings.

Expert has held advanced practice roles within pediatric hospitals, emergency departments, urgent care centers, private practices, and community health clinics. Notably, she served for many years as a pediatric nurse practitioner hospitalist, autonomously managing overnight inpatient pediatric admissions, intensive care coordination, and interfacility transfers. Earlier clinical roles included emergency services practice and combined family, pediatric, and women’s health care delivery. This breadth of experience supports a comprehensive understanding of acute care, chronic disease management, and multidisciplinary clinical operations.

In addition to clinical practice, Expert has maintained a long-standing academic career through joint faculty, associate professor, clinical professor, and adjunct instructor appointments at multiple nursing and medical schools. Responsibilities have included curriculum development, clinical supervision, and didactic instruction across pediatric, maternal-child, emergency, and community health nursing programs. Her professional scope also includes legal nurse consulting and provider wellness initiatives, integrating clinical expertise with healthcare education, forensic analysis, and patient safety perspectives.
