Request Expert

Expert's career has been as an engineer in the industrial gas world. He is a professional engineer who has participated for almost 35 years in the design and installation of industrial gas systems including participation in codes and standards for industrial gases (cryogenic and gaseous hydrogen, helium, oxygen, nitrogen, argon (to name the major gases). Trouble shouting difficult problems as an engineer and the leader of the engineering group was a required talent.

Expert spent 30 years at Air Products and Chemicals designing and supporting these industrial gases systems. This gives him a unique perspective to understand and resolve issues with these products.

Expert began his career designing nonstandard high pressure, high volume industrial gas systems. After this, Expert went into the field supporting the 6 states in the industrial gas system safety, design and installation. Expert then grew into one of 4 lead engineering positions for Air Products in North America.

Finally, he was promoted to manage the North American Manager (US and Canada) for supporting the industrial gas system design and installation.
Several special projects along the way add to Expert's hands on knowledge of engineering industrial gas systems. These were:
1. NASA managed cold shock test for hydrogen and oxygen systems for the Boeing launch site at Cape Canaveral, FL a
2. Site Manager for operation of the hydrogen/helium plant, and specialty gas depot.
3. Training, as the National Manager of Technical Training for all industrial gas technical training in North America.
4. Participated in codes and standards committees for industrial gases with the Compressed Gas Association and the National Fire Protection Association.

Expertise includes
1. Expert witness for cryogenic and gaseous systems.
2. System Engineering and Design for cryogenic and gaseous industrial gases
3. Codes and Standards Expertise (National Fire Protection Codes, Compressed Gas Association)
3. Hydrogen Safety Panel for Pacific Northwest National Labs to review hydrogen safety for business, government and the community.
