Request Expert

Expert is the chief of urology in the Department of Surgery at a Clinic and Hospital in his state as well as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery (Urology) (JABSOM). He is also a consultant to Saipan, Guam and American Samoa.

He received his M.D. from John A. Burns School of Medicine and completed his surgical and urology resident training at Cook County Hospital and the University of Illinois (Chicago). He has been in practice for over 20 years since graduation.

He is a general urologist, but is experienced with trauma so he frequently takes calls for several emergency rooms in Honolulu. He has a personal interest in male infertility and stones. Because Urology encompasses the medical and surgical management of problems with the genito-urinary system in men, women and children such as tumors, cancers, infections, incontinence, calculi (stones), male infertility and erectile dysfunction (impotency), Expert is also an expert in providing care before and after each surgical procedure as well as diagnosing patients with urologic conditions. As a physician with 21 years in clinical experience, he has worked with patients with urinary infections in both men and women. He is also familiar with treating and monitoring men’s prostate glands for benign hyperplasia (enlargement), cancer or inflammation/infection.

He also has experience as a physician working with men with low testosterone levels, referred to him by psychiatrists, since male hypogonadism is associated with depression. He has also worked closely with OB/GYNs, pediatricians, gerontologists, oncologists and endocrinologists for many interrelated problems.
