BIRTH CONTROL / SEX HORMONES (estradiol, estrogen, androgen, hormone replacement therapy, progesterone, progestational hormone, steroid hormone, testosterone, corpus luteum hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone): Expert is familiar with several aspects of various birth control methods and sex hormones including the physiological effects of estradiol replacement, gonadotropin levels, the effects of drugs on ovulation, analyzing estradiol positive feedback, in vitro and vivo ovulation stimulation and characteristics, gonadotropin releasing hormone and its importance in pharmacodynamics, the effect of estrogen status as stimulated by calcium metabolism, estradiol absorption vs. transdermal estradiol delivery system, and several other sex hormone related topics.
FERTILITY / INFERTILITY: He has experience with treating infertile women, biologic and morphologic development of donated human ova using non-surgical uterine lavage, using vaginal rings and cylinders for physicologic endometrial priming, analyzing the endometrium in functionally agonadal women receiving various treatment, abnormal pregnancy, luteal phase and ovulation induction - the effects on pregnancy rates, infectious complications during insemination, and several other methods and techniques. He is also familiar with the current controversies, debates and discussions in the field of infertility and fertility. He is experienced with common (and uncommon) complications and problems that can occur in the practice.
GYNECOLOGY (menstrual cycle, menopause): He is familiar with the effects of various drugs and hormones associated with ovarian hyperstimulation and the menstrual cycle. He is also familiar with several uncommon gynecologic problems, new techniques and protocols and is up-to-date with the latest research and scientific findings in gynecology as well as in his other areas of expertise.
