Military electronic designs also incorporated full nuclear EMP and NEMP protection, detecting damaging NEMP pulses, protecting the power supplies and systems from the damaging EMP pulse in the event of a nuclear attack, his knowledge of semiconductors in radiation environments is well understood, furthermore Expert was instrumental in driving the MoD to use plastic industrial semiconductors as a cost cutting exercise, he successfully proved that the cost of an end product could be reduced by over 200%, whilst making zero impact on reliability and improving design for manufacture and production yield rates.
Military designs complied to full operation at -55C to +150C, requiring ultimate efficiency, reliability and cooling techniques. In addition the designs were able to survive severe vibration profiles, both random and sine. Electronic test equipment was also designed and built to support these products. Expert has been a leader in the NEMP protection of power and high efficiency design. Expert has production designs fitted to many aircraft, ships
and vehicles for the Army, Navy and Air Force. Many of these are still in production today.
Commercial designs included battery charging power supplies installed on the sea bed for oil rigs, audio amplifiers and switched mode power. In recent years Expert has been instrumental in driving green power into the data center and computing industry. Working with Sun Microsystems, Intel, Google, Dell, HP and Microsoft he has been an active member of the climate savers initiative and has been feeding data to the US EPA to support the latest Energy Star specifications.

Expert worked alongside analysts to create and produce a 5 year roadmap and strategy plan for a major US power conversion company for AC and DC power. Plans were submitted and accepted by the companies board of directors and future financing secured. Expert recently (2009) developed a cutting edge ultra high efficiency AC DC power supply for use in multiple markets. Design taken from prototype to full production. Expert developed a high efficiency military NEMP protected DC DC power supply with full operation at -55 to +150C. Design is now in production. Expert works with multiple start up companies to validate new technology and help position it in the market place. Expert is called upon to help decide if the "new idea" or "technology" has a place in the market and what the full potential could be.
