Expert received his M.D. from the University of Illinois, College of Medicine in 1964. He completed his internship at the Letterman General Hospital in the U.S. Army and his resident trainings in 3 different hospitals in Ohio, Illinois and California. He completed additional training with a fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery in Massachusetts in 1974. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Since his certification, he has performed numerous surgeries, lectured, published and served in national and international organizations and seminars. He has forty years of clinical experience.

His professional appointments include holding the academic rank of clinical professor at UCSF, past president of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, past director of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

He is a consultant at a facial plastic clinic. Expert has acquired a board experience in facial plastic surgical procedures since 1971.


Expert has extensive experience in hair restoration surgery including plug grafts to flaps to scalp reductions to expansion, mini grafts, and micro grafts. His experiences also include 15 years of follicular unit grafting. He is an excellent consultant in providing service on hair restoration and evaluating and assessing patient candidacy for the various modalities of hair restoration surgery.

HAIRLINE LOWERING/FOREHEAD REDUCTION SURGERY:
Expert has performed hundreds of procedures on hairline lowering, mostly on women. His operation involves careful assessment of the patient’s desires and qualification and the evaluation of the best procedure and approach to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.


He has performed over 2000 nasal surgeries on various types of noses. He is a pioneer in performing external open rhinoplasty in California in 1981. The procedure is now used by many of his prominent colleagues throughout the nation.

Expert has performed a full range of facial rejuvenation procedures and was one of the pioneers in short flaps a procedure that minimizes invasive face lifts introduced in the 1970s. He has also performed eyelid lifts, forehead/brow lifts, neck lifts and chin augmentations using the basic cheek-neck lift. He is also familiar with ancillary procedures such as deep skin resurfacing. He has performed facial fillers, microdermabrasion and Botox but recommends facelifts as a better long-lasting choice.
