Expert has many years' experience in applying her knowledge in the preparation of expert evidence for litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution processes. She has investigated mechanical and materials failures and malperformance. She also has experience at presenting the evidence at hearings. She is a qualified commercial mediator.

Expert has prepared many reports for claims for injury in the workplace and elsewhere. She has acted both for the injured party and the defenders and insurers. Many of the injuries arise from allegedly faulty mechanical equipment.

Expert has worked in the power industry analysing stresses in boilers and piping systems. She has carried out stress and failure analyses from first principles and to design codes. She has also analysed other mechanical engineering structures and systems.

Expert considered the evidence in the light of regulations and health and safety issues. Failed components were examined and a report prepared. She attended meetings with solicitors and advocates. The case settled out of court. Expert was appointed to witness the dismantling of a failed mud pump at a factory in Italy.
