Detailed Forensic examination was performed on computers and hard drives. Using state of the art data recovery equipment, deleted files, e-mails, Internet cache and other data were interrogated, and the results prepared for a Crown Court trial. The case proceeded to the Crown Court with Expert' report being a key element of the case material. Expert was appointed as Technical Expert in the defence of a leading Stock broking Firm, in relation to their Part 20 Counterclaim (circa £1.4m) resulting from initial litigation action from a specialist systems provider. The Technical case involved an assessment of the specialist software in terms of its functionality (specifically to meet FSA Trading regulations, client account transaction posting and reconciliation, fee invoicing and accounting ledger suite integration), the systems operating software/hardware platform and the quality of its implementation. The case proceeded to the High Court with Expert providing oral evidence to support both the Individual and Joint Experts reports as developed with the claimant's nominated Expert Witness. Expert was instructed by a leading multi-national provider of data and business intelligence services to pursue a claim for a badly designed e-commerce web portal. Work included a full expert’s analysis and report and attendance at mediation.
Expert was engaged to investigate a 'hacked' telephone system resulting in a major London firm funding extremely costly 'free calls' to Asia. This involved detailed Technical Forensic examination and a High Court appearance to give oral evidence in London. Expert was retained to undertake and investigation into the failure of management system electronics for racing car engines. This case required extensive attendance and oral evidence in the High Court in London.
