Expert has 35 years' electro-optic sensor development experience. He has specific experience with laser sensing, wavelength discrimination, coherency discrimination, direction-of-arrival, and pulse processing. In addition, Expert has extensive laser sensor testing experience. This experience includes test protocols, developmental testing, component testing acceptance testing, instrumentation, and NIST traceable radiometrics for pulsed and CW laser measurement. Expert has specific experience in design and systems engineering of laser sensors and optical sensors for military, commercial and medical applications. His experience includes applications such as direct and indirect detection of laser illumination, direction finding, passive crowd counting, signature/source simulations and spectral discrimination tools.
Expert also has litigation experience in product failure modes for electronic and electro-optic systems for automotive and laser measurement systems. He has substantial experience as a project manager in product development and systems engineering team leadership.
