Expert has improved drawing die preparation and die quality in several mills.
Expert has lead cleaning and coating improvement initiatives in a number of mills
Expert has lead wire drawing process improvements involving modified drafting practices for better wire temperature control, better surface quality, longer die life, reduced machine changeover time, greater operating speeds.
Expert has conducted extensive wire failure analysis to reduce internal breaks (reduced machine downtime), as well as to determine root cause of field failures.
Expert has improved Patenting (lead and air) process in several mills, resulting in improved speeds and quality.
