Expert has over 32 years of experience in purchasing with negotiation, analytical, reporting and communication skills with inventory, distribution, purchasing, mail room and accounts payable background. He has implemented EDI system change from a standalone to a GHX system. He managed the merger conversion among four hospitals from downsizing staffing, inventories and into a computerized system for materials management. Expert has worked on merger consolidation and reconfiguration in financial cost-cutting programs with many consultant firms in reducing cost and labor in materials, as well having assessments done of materials department and compared to other facilities of it size throughout the US. He has also been recipient of National Award with VHA for Leadership in Operational Excellence and Supply Chain Management.
