Expert has spent the past 30+ years involved in the computer industry. Recent (past 15 years) experience involves working closely with computer makers and their suppliers, mostly from the hardware side, but with some exposure to software as well. With eight years running the PC program at market researcher IDC, Expert knows the players, technologies, dynamics of microcomputers and their heritors, phones, tablets, and other high-mobility devices. His own firm, Employer., was founded in 2005 and extends the coverage base from PCs to other "endpoints," single-user devices with human interfaces, and an IP address.
