Expert is currently the CEO and Chairman of a start-up firm focused on the global talent sourcing and transformation space. He was engaged by the Founders to launch the entity, define/establish the overall governance and corporate structure, develop the go-to-market strategy, bring on the leadership team and develop the relationships that will be leveraged to possibly source the capital for global expansion. Prior to this role, he was most recently Global Group President of HR Outsourcing & Solutions within the $1.9 billion Human Capital Management Solutions division of Xerox, Inc. In this role, he was responsible for the full P&L, as well as all aspects of HR Outsourcing, Retirement Solution (401K), Pensions, Health & Wellness, and multi-scope HR, including Global RPO (Recruiting) to target global Fortune 1000 clients. He had all aspects of HR delivery reporting under his organization – payroll, HRIS, ESS/MSS, employee call center services, global recruiting, workforce administration, on-boarding/off-boarding 401K, pension programs, healthcare, performance and vendor management and the distributed network of HR generalists that were aligned to the specific BU leaders. The only functions that did not direct line report to his organization was HR executive leadership, strategy and talent planning. He led a global organization of 8000+ professional staff located in over 23 countries.
Prior to joining Xerox, Expert was the President of Hewitt’s $1.6 billion Global Benefits Outsourcing segment. In his role, he was accountable for the complete P&L, including all aspects of client implementation, on-going service delivery and a global workforce exceeding 11,000 associates spread across 18 different countries. Similar to ACS/Xerox, Expert also had all internal HR delivery reporting to him directly – HRIS, payroll, workforce administration, ESS/MSS, employee call center, HR helpline, pensions, 401K, PBM management, vendor selection/management and healthcare. As in the case with ACS/Xerox, it was imperative that Hewitt Associates be treated like a customer, where HR execution was managed and delivered by his team while HR strategy was left to the CPO at Hewitt. He was recognized by both the organization and their Board’s, as high potential, executive talent. Prior to joining Hewitt Associates, he held two senior executive roles within Bank of America at their world headquarters in Charlotte, N.C. He served as President, HomeFocus Services, a subsidiary of Bank of America responsible for all of the internal settlement services for BAC’s loans, Home Equity and fulfillment needs. He was promoted to that role from SVP, Strategy and M&A within the Consumer Real Estate Division. Expert has also held senior strategy & leadership roles with Booz, Allen & Hamilton Inc., and Wells Fargo Inc. where he was accountable for M&A and large scale transformation initiatives.
He completed his undergraduate studies in Economics, Business Administration and his MBA from the University of Ottawa. He was a recipient of the renowned “Gore - Hammer U.S. Government Reengineering Award,” as a member of the BAH IRS Team for their work on the Reengineering of the IRS. He was also awarded a patent for his creation of the HealthCare.
Expert has experience as CEO and COO, as well as a consultant, in: Business Transformation, Global Outsourcing, Automation and RPA, HR Services, Cloud-Based IT and ERP Systems, Shared Services, U.S. Healthcare, and Pensions.
