Responsibilities:Expert is responsible for managing the development of two landmark green–tech projects in California: the 500 MW Lake Elsinore Advanced Pumped Storage (LEAPS) and the Talega–Escondido/Valley–Serrano 500 kV Interconnect projects. Together, these facilities will help the state meet its goals for renewable energy and substitute for the shuttered San Onofre nuclear plant. The two projects are expected to cost about US$1.8 billion.Expert directs Nevada Hydro’s federal, state, and local legislative, regulatory, and strategic relations programs in support of their two California utility-scale projects, and for other projects outside California.
