Expert has 27 years of global oil and gas experience, 21 of which are at management or executive level. Recent work achievements include:-

1. Establishing commercial practices and formalising a business critical rig contracting environment (22 rigs) for S. Iraq & Saudi Arabia whilst introducing Contractor Performance Management initiatives. Implementing policies & procedures for contracting and delivering over $500 million of services and equipment p.a. (2012-2015).
2. Establishing and managing a green-field Supply Chain Group (Contracts, Purchasing, Logistics, Inventory, QA/QC, Warehousing) to support new business operations for a high profile tri-party JV. Leading the delivery of over $1.5bn p.a. of forward commitments on an annual basis. Personally recruiting the 20 most senior personnel. My team extended to 65 people on the ground (7 direct reports) and to 100+ globally.

3. Standardising and building an oilfield inventory from $20MM to $100MM to API standard including new specialized warehousing and yard areas.

4. Contributing over +/-$100MM of cost savings to a business critical efficiency drive, whilst increasing rig count and field development operations.
He is a collaborative leader with a strong sense of cultural awareness and diversity. I build capable, efficient teams with high staff retention and believe in supporting and guiding staff to peak performance.

He holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School (2005), A MSc in Engineering from Yale University (1988) and a BEng (Hons 1st) from The University of Strathclyde (1987).
