Expert has served as an expert witness on several legal cases where the amount sued for was as much as $100 million dollars.
He served as a Consultant for the Manufacture and Development of Tires in the Far East for Importation into North America (2013-present): Consultant for Linglong Tire on the development of retreading of truck tires; Consultant for Nexen Tire on uniformity of passenger tires. He also was a Tire Consultant for Rakla Tires, Canada (2006-2009), consulting on overseas design, fabrication, and importation of radial and bias tires. He visited tire factories for determination of capability to supply quality tires for importation into North America. He also inspected and accepted tires for shipment to North America. He worked with Chinese tire manufacturers to develop new PCR, TBR, Agriculture, and OTR tires. Expert also advised in selection of equipment, design of tires, start up of production, testing of prototype tires, and quality control after startup. He made field trips to inspect tires that were in service in North America.

Responsibilities:Expert designed, tested, and implemented the startup of over 200 sculptures used in Michelin’s mold-cure and pre-cure truck tire retreads in North America. Three of the treads he developed were the XZE-SA used on spread axle trailers, the XZU-S sanitation rib tread, and the XDU-S sanitation lug tread used on refuse trucks. These sculptures were so successful that new tires were developed based on these retreads. Prior to his position as Tire Designer, he also served as Product Engineer (1987-1990), Design Engineer (1985-1986) and Tire Design Engineer (1974-1984). |
