Request Expert

Expert is a results-driven telecommunications professional with 8+ years of international experience in the industry and a deep understanding of technology and business processes. Since November 2009, he is a Senior International Partnership Development Manager, identifying and executing strategic partnerships and international projects that create new growth segments for T-Mobile and Deutsche Telekom. He worked in the telecommunications industry since 2001 at manufacturers and mobile operators in different European countries.

Expert has worked in the Corporate Research at Motorola from Sept 2001 to April 2006. He did the following:
- Managed collaborative research project (16.9 M€, 55 PY/Y) funded by the European Commission, interfacing on a daily basis with its consortium formed by 28 partners across 10 European countries.
- Defined business opportunities based on research results, and actively contributed to the strategy identification for reconfigurability, by the development of interactions within Motorola and the implementation of standardization and regulation plans.
- Led the multi-site and multi-partner development of the Monasidre (European research project) telecommunications platform, and contributed to the conception and UML-based design of the platform.
- Defined and developed a service architectural framework in Beyond 3G (B3G) environment and implemented new concepts related to service management on Motorola B3G demonstration testbed (GPRS, WLAN, DVB-T).

Expert has worked in the product development area for more than 3 years at T-Mobile International. He did the following:
- Planned, coordinated and controlled Top20 Product Development projects/programs in strong collaboration with marketing, external vendors and the technology organizations of T-Mobile in Europe.
- Responsible for project scope and budget (over 3 M€), requirement gathering, gap analysis, end-to-end design, development, testing and deployment of Mobile IM product in Germany, Czech Republic and the United Kingdom.
- Managed service implementation projects related to the Mobile Instant Messaging/Super SMS business across Germany, Austria and the United Kingdom.
- Led the mobile messaging design team located in Germany, Austria and Czech Republic in a cross-functional initiative related to a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) opportunity in Europe.
- Maintained a solid understanding of the entire technology landscape, identifying relevant trends, especially in the field of mobile messaging (SMS, Mobile IM, MMS, Email, and Voice Messaging).

Expert has worked in the project and program management area for more than 2 years at Motorola than 3 years at T-Mobile International. He did the following:

- Supported the management of the Community 1.0 project part of the Connected Life & Work (CLW) program, and managed the technical deliveries of Austria, Czech Republic and the United Kingdom.

Expert started his own website in 1998 and since this time very familiar with Internet technologies, trends and tools. He also created several websites, including a tourist guide to Lebanon.
