Expert incubated and scaled several highly profitable businesses at Dell from 1997-2013. As (Undisclosed), Dell Global Enterprise Cloud Solutions, he turned around Dell’s Enterprise Workloads business with a lean team – Incremental business scaled from under $10M to over $200M within one year. Focus areas were – Unified Communications (Lync, Sharepoint & Exchange), Virtualization, SAP-Hana, Data Warehousing, Cloud offerings and Openstack, Hadoop and Business Intelligence.

As the GM, Vertical Enterprise Solutions he established Dell’s first integrated Solution Development, Validation, Launch and GTM infrastructure, resulting in over $500M/yr of incremental, margin rich revenue. Solutions targeted Government, Retail, Education, Healthcare and Financials segments.

As Director of IT Services Product Management, he led Dell’s early initiatives to begin Dell’s transformation into an IT Services provider. He developed a unique offer development framework and taxonomy to identify technology gaps and helped strategize and integrate several software acquisitions.

Expert also incubated Dell’s entry into the Unified Communications Software & Services space. UC generates over $1B in revenue for Dell today.

As Director of Wireless & Networking across all Dell product lines, he refocused Dell’s technology investment to differentiate/ optimize the product portfolio (Server, Switches, & Clients). Resulted in over $300M in cost savings, and many “first in industry” claims for Dell.

He represented Dell on the Blu-ray Board of Directors. He conceived Dell’s inclusion into the IP Licensing revenue pool and incubated annual royalty streams of over $100M from IP Licensing initiatives.

He incubated and scaled multiple Datacenter, Software, IT Services and Client offerings - from Dell’s first Network Switches to leading development of the first "Inspiron" product which led to a highly successful Brand, one of the fastest growing in Dell history. Incremental revenues from these startup initiatives ranged from $100M to over $12B.

Prior to joining Dell, he established the first Phase based Product Development infrastructure at Norand (acquired by Honeywell), including software validation and SEI CMM certification. He has since led several initiatives to optimize Product Lifecycle at many companies, as well as transition from Waterfall to Agile Development models including Scrum.
