Expert M. Expert was responsible for a number of successful commercial products and scientific prototypes as a designer, architect, and project leader. His projects included the world’s first multi-microprocessor HF radio modem for defense applications, the world’s first 200 MHz RISC microprocessor for DARPA, the world’s fastest I/O pump for personal computers in cooperation with Encore, and a number of innovations related to the multimedia PC for NCR. Most recently, his research focus has been in combining his expertise in hardware design, software development and business administration to create more efficient infrastructure, for example, proxy cashing, intelligent search for e-businesses on the Internet. He consults for a large number of high tech companies such as Intel, Compaq, IBM, GE, AT&T.

For more than ten years, Expert held various faculty positions at Purdue University. Since then, he has been a guest lecturer at MIT, Stanford, and UC Berkeley. During his tenure at Purdue University, Expert invented the concept of high-level language architecture based on the principle of vertical migration, the concept of delayed decision computer architecture, and the concept of weighted partial detection architecture -- all of which are referenced in the literature and used by industry worldwide.

Expert is currently a tenure professor at the Employer where he conducts research in the field of e-commerce-enabling infrastructure technologies for the Internet.

for e-business on the Internet (in the U.S. and Europe).He is the designer of several successful hardware and software products, developed in cooperation with leading industry in the U.S. and Europe.He was a project leader involved in the design of a software package for mission critical e-businesses on the Internet. The work was sponspored by SSGRR (La Scuola Superiore Guglielmo Reiss Romoli), in cooperation with the University of Pisa, Italy. It is currently being used by Telecom Italia.

He was a guest editor for a number of special issues in various IEEE journals: Proceedings of the IEEE, IEEE Transactions on Computers, IEEE Concurrency, IEEE Computer, and others. Until August 1995, he was engaged at Purdue University as a visiting professor. He has also been a Distinguished Lecturer for IEEE.
