Expert M. Expert has extensive experience in the theory and practical use of capillary GC. He has considerable knowledge in multidimensional strategies, troubleshooting, capillary column technology, injector designs, detection schemes, and current applications. He has also conducted many training courses on theoretical GC, as well as the practical use of GC for many of the major GC vendors. He is available to be on-site for method development training and technical data review.



Expert is presently responsible for supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) and supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) applications development and research for environmental, petroleum, food, chemical, polymer, and pharmaceutical industries. He has also been involved with SFC and SFE new product testing, customer training, technical support, analytical troubleshooting, and quality assurance. He has been involved in the design of new instrumentation for SFC and SFE, and has extensive practical knowledge of the application of SFC and SFE to real-world problems. He also pioneered this field with his research in the use of modifiers, on-line interfacing of SFC and SFE to gas chromatography, and off-line collection in SFE.

Expert has 10 years experience as a Project Leader for a major petroleum company where he conducted chromatographic and spectroscopic research and development in support of petrochemical applications. He is an expert in the use of specific methods of GC for petroleum and environmental applications, including simulated distillation, hydrocarbon class separations, determination of polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons, characterization of high boiling petroleum streams, lube oil characterization, and priority pollutant analysis.

Expert has extensive experience in the practical and theoretical use of gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS).
