Expert has been a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff in the Technology Development Division of Employer since 1997. He has been coaching more than 6 CTOs and many VPs within Employer as a personal technical advisor. In this position, he is responsible for pre-business case analysis, competitive technology intelligence, business drivers and key assumptions of its Network Evolution Plan. His primary expertise is service providers, wireless, and wireline throughout United States, Canada and China. He built the company's Network Forecasting & Budgeting Systems and therefore is very familiar with business operation, network interfaces, topology and equipment. He has been present throughout Employer's major evolutions and restructures and can talk about telecom industry's 'big picture' and major technologies/network evolution options. During the 3G/4G evolution, he participated in the projects for technology selections, building deployment scenarios and cost evaluation. He involved in many RFPs for wireless macro network electronics. Additionally, he is chartered to build wireless architecture models for major wireless strategic evaluation. He is familiar with the ecosystems associated with major evolution, network cost structure, competitive landscaping and telecom industry outlook. Recently, he helps developing Employer’s backhaul strategy for LTE and small cell and call discuss lit/dark fiber, Ethernet, microwave and DIA in depth. He is responsible for backhaul initiative vendor sourcing management and have worked with lots of backhaul service and electronic OEMs. Expert is also very familiar with wireless infrastructure, GSM/CDMA, LTE, EPC, spectrum, link budget, coverage/capacity, VoIP/VoLTE, IP/MPLS, and switch/routers.
