Responsible as the Power Supplies Operations Engineer. This was an operational and supervisory role for all of the power supplies systems including 400/36 kV substation and two flywheel generators used for the fusion research facility operations (1500 MW installed power). He gained engineering experience in automated equipment, controls, injections of protection, programmable controllers, switchgear, pneumatics and high pressure air systems. He managed a section of engineers and technicians, with an annual budget of £0.2MM. |
