He was instrumental in helping the United States Postal Service with their Performance Evaluation Guide. This Guide was an inspection of various postal facilites on that facility's OSHA compliance. This included everything from records review to physical inspection. Along with this inspection, he specifically ensured that the facility knew how to correct deficiencies found.Expert was extremely helpful in the safeguarding of a rotating finishing machine. This machine, used to polish slot machine fronts, was without proper guarding. He implemented the guard used on Power Take-Off shafts used on farm equipment and therefore reduced the number of worker accidents at that facility.Expert interviened on a case of a new company wishing to use an extremely harmful substance for processing of their unique product. Upon his urging, the company found a more environmentally friendly substitute and therefore the company was able to obtain the proper permits from governmental agencies.
