She has completed her PhD in numerical linear algebra in 2007 where she worked on iterative methods for eigenvalue problems and linear equations. She has wide experience in computer mathematics, numerical analysis, data assimilation and the implementation of algorithms using Matlab. She has worked in many different areas of mathematics such as inverse problems, solvers for sparse linear systems and sparse eigenvalue problems, discretisation schemes for partial differential equations and data assimilation for numerical weather prediction. She is specialised in applied mathematics and interested in a wide selection of industrial applications.
