During the rating interview, Expert’s special insights into crucial information caused several companies in her portfolio to be upgraded. These skills proved highly applicable when Expert managed the rating process for a subsequent employer. She created objective-targeted guidelines for presentations by the company's senior management team and edited them, supervised the production of a manual covering narratives, financial exhibits and forecasts and coordinated the annual review. The result was a greatly-improved rating process and the preservation of the rating through difficult times for the company.

Product development included assessing market size, feasibility of profitable underwriting and marketing options and leading the development team. Results were a successful launch of a major product.
As Assistant Vice President, Expert supported the largest revenue base of all analyst units; enabling the highest revenue growth rate by adding 6 new accounts and increasing penetration of 10 accounts without adding personnel Supervisory duties included building in-depth analytical skills into analyst staff of four – top team in the division - defining analyst skill set development, implementing production procedures and introducing standard guidelines to improve focus, quality and timeliness of analyses for committee presentations, reports and publications.
Expert has managed client company relationships, issued credit ratings for life and health insurance companies and promoted credit ratings to a large banking institution.
Expert created a detailed business plan for development of the hospital rating business. She developed hospital debt rating methodology and issued ratings on 15 hospitals. She published timely industry reports on developments affecting ratings. She responded to media and investor enquiries and was a frequent presenter at national industry conferences - SOA, AHIP, LIMRA, Health Plan Alliance, Review-Preview.
As holder of staff level positions, Expert provided consultative services to various areas within the company. At Capital BlueCross, provided consultative advice on gathering data for the expense management study.At Cap Gemini Ernst & Young (1993-1995), Expert responded to RFPs and developed a reengineering plan for a research and development facility. As part of the Y2K project, Expert examined sections of code to identify dates for update.
