He also consulted for a financial group providing equities research for $1 billion hedge fund, specializing in short positions in ophthalmology-related companies. He has worked as a consultant in the medical field providing expert medical opinions on medical malpractice, HMO claims and denial-of-payments for a medical care management corporation. He also served as a senior medical consultant and physician liaison for a medical company initiating an MD-MD marketing and sales program as well as refining Internet search algorithms while serving on the Medical Advisory Board. He also consulted and assisted with human clinical FDA trials of second-generation solid-state laser as a Principal investigator for a major medical corporation.
