Twenty-five novel dinuclear ruthenium complexes with various N-donor terminal ligands were synthesized and characterized using NMR, epr, UV-Visible spectroscopy and this includes the molecular analogues of the metalloprotein, hemerythrin.
She has discovered the novel 'one-step two-electron transfer process' in the oxobridged diruthenium(III, III) complexes.
She has also solved the crystal structure of twenty new inorganic compounds by single crystal X-ray diffraction methods.
