At Harvard University, I am a Staff Scientist at the Center for Nanotechnology and Nanotoxicology. Much of my research centers on inhalation toxicology, nanomedicine and biomedical applications of functional nanomaterials, especially nanoparticles for targeted drug delivery. I publish my work regularly in prestigious journals such as Nature Nanotechnology, Particle and Fiber Toxicology, Nanotoxicology, PLoS One, Nano Letters, J Biol. Chemistry, Environmental Science: Nano. I have also presented at several national and international meetings. The impact of my research is significant and is demonstrated by the number of citations by the scientific community and the usefulness of the results for risk assessment by governmental agencies such as the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
