We had a client who hired a female Vice President in December with a beginning employment date of January 2d. The VP was invited to the company's annual off premises Holiday party. She became intoxicated and attempted to seduce a female employee in the wormen's restroom. The executive signed an employment contract with no "morals clause." Expert was able to extricate the employer from this situation without incurring a lawsuit from the female employee and also not incurring a wrongful termination lawsuit from the terminated executive. Expert has a law degree with emphasis in employment and labor law.A physician in an eight member medical group exploded in the reception area of the Practice and called the Office Manager an "incompetent Nazi bitch." The Office Manager as a child was a prisoner at Aushwitz Her husband was one of the top civil rights and employment law lawyers in the West Coast. Expert was able to work with the client to engineer a mutually agreeable early retirement for the Office Manager that included a signed waiver and release clearing the physician and Practice of all liabilities. Expert facilitated a four-day Board Retreat for a major electrical association covering 12 mid and south western states. The focus of the Retreat was to identify and design new initiatives and practices that included major changes in how the organization was currently doing business. The 15-member Board was fractious and pre-disposed not to adopt needed change. At the end of the four days Expert was able to facilitate Board agreement on the steps, actions, activities and accountabilities needed to effect the identified changes.A major midwestern utility contracted with us to design and implement on-site workshops for its middle managers who had recently experienced a merger of two organizations with different cultures. The focus was on ensuring that mangers from the combined new entity were crystal clear on implementing the common strategies, tactics and techniques needed to properly and appropriately manage its 5,000 employee workforce. Expert was contracted to conduct an in-house alleged sexual harassment investigation involving the company's Vice President of Human Resources and a middle manager. Expert was able to recommend to senior management dismissal of the VP based on the facts uncovered which included discovering that several managers had been threatened with "sex or lose your job threats"
