Expert is Director of Anesthesiology, Medical Director, and an Expert Medical Review Consultant for the State of California Medical Board. His medical practice includes all aspects of anesthesia including an active interventional pain management program and a cardiothoracic practice. Currently, he is a hospital committee member addressing healthcare reform policies, the Leapfrog Initiative and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement initiative which involves planning and implementing a hospital wide electronic medical records system. His extensive experience in medical informatics on the ASP platform and in data mining outcome studies for disease management has led him to cofound Naomi Systems, an FDA approved medical device company producing x-ray capture devices to digitize images for integration into PACS, practice management, EMR and billing systems.

In over 25 years of clinical practice, he uses his education, training and clinical experience to determine the standard of practice in Anesthesiology. He currently is chief of anesthesiology and manages the anesthesia department of 5 ambulatory surgical centers so he recognizes that variety of ways anesthesia can be practiced but also understands that there is standard in the community. As a CEO and founder, he has watched the opioid crisis worsen over the past 20 years. He has stepped forward to offer a solution to address the cause of the opioid crisis. Narcan treats patients already overdosed and Suboxone, Methadone, MAT therapy and rehab are for patients already addicted which treats the symptoms of the chronic disease of addiction. The pharma company going through a 505(b)2 approval process and the medical device company are going through the FDA 510K class 2 approval process are an example of his ability to take the practice of medicine form one patient to a population of patients.
