Request Expert

Expert W. Expert is an expert in many aspects of the fundamentals of electrochemistry. A major focus of his work over the past years has been the analysis of electrochemical responses (mostly cyclic voltammetric) for systems involving coupled heterogeneous electron transfer and homogeneous kinetics. He notes that these studies are applicable to mechanistic investigations of inorganic and organic electrochemistry. He has also developed methods for measurement of fast interfacial electron transfer. Expert views both polarography and voltammetry as variations of technique within the scope of electrochemistry. He states that while he is familiar with many of the basic concepts of the more applied areas of electrochemistry, e.g., fuel cells, batteries, water electrolysis, these are not areas in which he considers himself to be expert.
