Expert is an internationally recognized professional on injection and combustion technologies as well as precision instrumentation and control systems through his various project-leader jobs carried out for the automotive and aerospace industries in Russia (1981-1989), Germany (1990-1996), Japan (1997-1998), USA (since 2000) and France (since 2004). He is authored more than 63 technical papers and a great number of international conference proceedings. He also holds 10 US patents, and two of them he owns as a sole applicant and inventor.
Prior to founding his own firm, Expert served as the Director of Research and Development for Combustion Dynamics Corporation, 2000-2004. Expert, 47, has established a distinguished reputation in mechanical engineering and molecular physics. Prior to joining CDC, he served as senior engineer for Unisia Jecs, Inc., a power train subsidiary of Nissan Motors. Before that, Expert was senior research fellow at the Institute of Fluid Mechanics at the University of Erlanger – Nuremberg, Germany. Expert began his career as an associate professor of rocket propulsion at Moscow State Technical University. During this ten year period, he conducted research for the Soviet space program’s Mars landing sub-orbital engine project, liquid oxygen project and Buran 100- ton thrust engine project, the Russian Shuttle-like system. Expert received physics and engineering degrees, including a doctorate in molecular physics, from Moscow State Technical University. His research has been published in Russian, German, English and Japanese in numerous scientific journals, including Experiments in Fluids and the Society of Automotive Engineers. Expert is a permanent resident of the United States.

supported by Unisia Jecs. Co – Nissan Motor. As the project leader, developed an injection
system and combustion process for gasoline direct injection engines installed on Nissan
passenger cars. This project resulted in two new products, i.e., a dual switch fuel injector and an
instantaneous online fuel flow meter.
