Expert is a graduate of the University Of Kentucky Collage Of Architecture. He currently serves on several civic boards and committees and is a past President of the East Kentucky AIA, the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects. He has also been involved in the mentoring of students interested in the architectural profession. He became a LEED Accredited Professional in 2008, which allows him to implement the "Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design" (LEED) green building rating system.

In addition, EOP has been a leader in sustainable and green building design within the Commonwealth and is a founding member of the Kentucky Chapter of the US Green Building Counsel. EOP designed the very first LEED certified building in the state and has long been considered one of the original authorities within the state on the LEED process and practices. |
