Dr. Ziao has over 25 years of experience in adhesives. Expert researches urethane ionomers, interpenetrating polymer networks (IPNs) and polymer alloys, in particular coatings, adhesives and sealants, and polymer recycling. He has a master’s degree from the Department of Polymer Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the Chengdu Institute of Technology (China), and a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry from the Chengdu Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Science. He has 62 publications and seven patents.
He is responsible for directing the research projects based on coatings, adhesives, sealants, composites and recycling of waste polymer as the head of coatings and adhesives division. He is the lecturer for graduate course in adhesion and he is the director and advisor for dissertation and thesis.
