Cleaning Formulae & Government Regulations
ID: 717760
Minnesota, USA
Expert has done extensive work in the development of water-based, and especially, solvent-based cleaning products for the screen printing industry. The technology he has developed does not include the use of petroleum distillates or any other conventional solvents. The products are biodegradable, have a lower level of volatile organic compounds (V.O.C.), higher flash points, and are not considered hazardous material by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
While at Fremont, Expert was responsible for the safety and handling of a variety of hazardous materials. This gave him expertise in Department of Transportation (DOT), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and OSHA regulations. More recently, he has been very closely involved in helping clients understand and comply with government regulations pertaining to chemicals and some types of hazardous waste. He maintains familiarity with DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations on both the state and federal levels.
Expert has done a significant amount of work in the field of gas chromatography in the past five years. He is experienced in the use of both packed and capillary columns, as well as in the determination of high and low boiling solvents.
