Prof. Expert acted as an expert witness for a generic pharma in a long-running litigation for an anti-cancer drug. After his testimony by deposition the case settled on highly favourable terms for the client.Prof. Expert undertook X-ray Powder diffraction measurements both in Japan and at the NLS (Brookhaven) synchrotron for an innovator pharmaceutical company. These measurements and his deposition testimony were used extensively in the final settlement.Prof. Expert undertook laboratory work in his own labs for a generic pharmaceutical company in order to assure them that their proposed patent challenge was on secure scientific grounds.
