He modeled molecular flows in vacuum systems, dry vacuum pumps performance, counter flow diffusion of contaminants in semiconductor manufacturing vacuum systems, plasma processes in vacuum systems, etc.
Expert has strong experience in making quick quantitative estimates related to industrial technological processes as well as modeling a wide spectrum of technological processes. He has strong experience in helping customers to gain an understanding of complex manufacturing processes, develop process optimization techniques, benefit from an “arms-length” assessment of current manufacturing or process technology, overview and assess new technologies
Expert has strong theoretical knowledge in area of electrical breakdown and discharges in gases at low and atmospheric pressures. For example, he analyzed non-equilibrium "cold" plasma technologies related to plasma-chemical modification of molecular gases as well as treatment of effluent gases.
Expert developed models for condensing and boiling streams of cryogenic fluids, and led development of two-phase turbo-expander design computational tools. He modeled inlet flow evaporative cooling for air separation plants located in areas with hot and dry climate.
