Laser balloon,
Cryoballoon (first and second generation)
Irrigated tip and Contact Force catheters,
Epicardial bipolar radiofrequency devices (clamps and pens),
Left atrial appendage occluder (epicardial clips and endocardial watchman device), and
Hybrid ablation for AF.
Expert's extensive experience has afforded him a well-balanced approach to cardiac electrophysiology. He has also performed in vivo and animal studies with different ablation devices studying the effect on lesion quality with change of various parameters.
Expert's belief system depends on incorporating good health economics principles and research with a strong knowledge of health.
Expert's colleagues have appreciated the way in which he has contributed to his host organisations to help them to bring improvement in quality and quantity of patients' and institutions' care. He is interested in Interventional EP procedures with a special liking for atrial fibrillation and heart failure, including the potential to be more patient-friendly.
