Expert's main area is to advise organizations about enhancing the effectiveness of their innovation process, particularly if their novel business ideas are technology-intensive. This often requires workshops with personnel involved in the process across the whole firm: his "facilitation" skills are very useful there: the aim is to work out, together with the managers, a "blueprint", shared by managers and agreed upon the top management, best able to meet the challenges of our rapidly changing business environment and to achieve profitable growth. For this particular management development activity, he has coined the phrase "EduConsult" - education with a consulting perspective - a powerful agent for change. Thus, his approach is very much to "partner" with the client- organization and to work together with all personnel concerned, in order to define an effective path and actionable plans.

He recently advised on restructuring the R&D/Innovation process in several large companies, in the healthcare, chemical and oil sectors. His recent book gives his views and experience on innovation management and explains his new concept of "distributed innovation." He also works on new ventures in the Cambridge, UK region. He is frequently invited to speak at firms' board management meetings, as well as keynote in conferences. There, he can leverage his wide experience of scientist, patent-holder researcher, manager, business school Faculty and advisor.

Expert acts as an adviser to firms and organizations in Europe, North America and Asia on R&D/Innovation management for effective value-creation.
