Expert maintained a continuous stay in India for nearly 12 years (ending in summer 2018). Since 1977, he has kept business contacts with Indian companies through import and export trade. He began working in India early 2007 for a German Engineering company (part of the Volkswagen Group) as Managing Director of the Indian subsidiary.

Expert possesses intensive exposure to automobile and other industries in India. Specifically, his experience includes the local sourcing of components: He has visited approximately 250 component manufacturers and OEM's. Following this experience, he has undertaken consulting to medium-sized German companies coming to or wanting to go to India, including consultative trouble-shooting for such companies.

Since early 2012- a manufacturer of safety switches for machinery, lifts etc. – Expert in setting up their factory. Ramp-up of completely new production unit from greenfield (ground breaking) to full process manufacturing within 18. Hiring of all key positions in management. After installation of all processes and achieving all necessary certifications moving on to localisation of components and business development according to Indian market demands.

At first: Supervising construction budget, planning, timing, deciding on quality issues in construction and interiors. After that technology transfer from Germany to India including machinery, fixtures, assembly processes. Achieved full production and later added service elements like local engineering, ERP-support for the whole global group from India. Strong co-ordination with mother company in Germany, working on mind-set change of German headquarters.
