Guided the start-up of seven new businesses with each of the businesses still in operation today and fiscally sound. Developed a “Business Start-Up Package” for entrepreneurs wishing to start their own businesses. This package provides step by step assistance and helps the business owner avoid the traps that frequently cause new businesses to fail.
Developed and implemented training materials/programs for improving customer service in businesses.
Developed and currently maintain catalog of prototype business policies, procedures, forms, systems, processes, training manuals, contracts and other tools that can be easily modified to meet unique businesses needs. Owned and operated a restaurant that showed 65 consecutive months of profitability. Owned and operated multi-family housing and commercial properties for ten years. Provided business consulting on understanding business revenue cycles, supply chains, overhead expenses and other key organizational issues that impact cash flow. Assist businesses with improving their cash flow position based on this evaluation.
Provided human resource consulting on recruiting, screening, hiring, employee discipline and termination, employee handbook development, workers compensation, unemployment compensation, wage/salary programs, benefit programs, employee incentive programs, job descriptions, performance evaluation programs and general human resource questions. Completed enumerable business plans, market feasibility studies, and financial projections for new programs, businesses and projects for marketing, funding and management purposes. Most recently completed a $70 Million project that obtained funding.

Completed merger and full integration of two Internal Medicine Practices with 11 physicians in Atlanta, GA resulting in annual bottom line improvement of over $1 Million. Completed business plan, market feasibility study, and financial projections for comprehensive senior care housing and healthcare services project in Birmingham, AL that resulted in $65 Million in financing for the project. Provided business coaching services to an architectural firm which guided them through a minority ownership conversion resulting in $15 Million in new minority contract business from local government. Provided business coaching to assisted living facility owner involving restructuring of several contracts resulting in $250,000 in annual improvement in expenses. Strategically refocused a hospital with a negative bottom line, built an effective management team and developed a capitated, integrated behavioral health system, all of which resulted in an annualized improvement of $2.9 Million.
