Expert was Chairman of the Centre for Accessible Environments for nine years, and chaired numerous seminars on disability and design related topics during that time. In the 1970's he set up and ran two courses, each twice per year, at Castle Priory College, Wallingford, for Occupational Therapists, or Occupational Therapists and Architects on basic training in building construction and disability related design problems. The courses ran, over-subscribed, for more than twenty years. In consequence Expert was made an Honorary Member of the College of Occupational Therapists. |
