Signals, Imaging, Seismic Method - All Aspects, Expert Witness
ID: 717693
Texas, USA
The acoustics project work with which Expert has been associated encompassed consideration of sources, receivers and transducers, and a comprehensive understanding of sound propagation in solids, fluids, and heterogeneous materials. Specific applications he has experience with have included control frequencies of 15, 20,000 and 3x10(6) Hertz. He has applied this in all areas except architectural.
Expert has a broad background in applied geophysics, with an emphasis on seismic technology and t
In Expert's view, harmonic analysis is one of the principal tools of signal processing. He has extensive experience with computations and interpretation of such results. He has applied these methods also in multivariate cases, and even more generally in functional expansions involving other base functions under the L2 Norm. His work here has been both theoretical, and applied in many different areas.
Expert has been working broadly in exploration seismology in marine areas, as well as researching and applying projects involving dolphin echo location, non-destructive evaluation, and medical imaging. This has allowed him to de
Expert has a broad in-depth knowledge of petroleum exploration, as well as the geological and geophysical foundations on which it rests. His work in this area spans more than 25 years and is essentially on a global basis, in terms of both geography and geologic environment. He has worked as a consultant, researcher, and independent producer, with many of his contributions advancing the state-of-the-art.
Expert has experience with all aspects of exploration seismic technology, ultrasonics for medical imaging, and non-destructive evaluation, as well as sonar systems. This has provided him with a solid grounding in physical acoustics. Also, his diverse applications "know-how" has helped address problems via a cross-disciplinary, and often innovative view with regard to the technology more routinely used in a particular discipline.
Expert has worked in all aspects of exploration seismology for oil and gas exploration and reservoir definition for over 25 years. This experience, in conjunction with his work in ultrasonics for medical imaging, non-destructive evaluation, biosonar, sonar, and radar systems, has given him an in-depth understanding of reflection phenomena in virtually all environments for essentially all types of signals.
